This massager works and looks great. A feature which can be improved is the "idle" one, the mechanism won't retract to make a comfortable seat cushion -- instead your back will rest on the massaging balls.
Broke
It worked great for 3 or 4 days and then it got stuck.
I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it was still stuck, so I sent back to HoMedics.
That was a couple weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them. Hope they don't forget me.

Bought this for my Aunt and she was very happy with the way it worked. She has a very bad back and its "fixes" her every time she uses it. The Shiatsu feature is great, makes it feel like a real massage. Fast shipping
should have listened
i read a lot about people who had problems with this product and still bought it, thinking they had been doing stupid things or using it wrong. unfortunately, during use on the first day it broke, the little gears got hung up at the top and didn't go back down. we unplugged it and left it for a day and my girlfriend got it to work the next day, but as soon as i sat in it it did the same thing. now it even does it for her. very frustrating, total waste of money.
Cheap seams
Had the massager for two months and when using it, the massager head on one side ripped the seam from the top to the bottom.
